Status: awaiting Mozilla review. It is not installable from Firefox Add-ons yet. Its Firefox Add-ons page will show an install button once Mozilla approves it.
What it does
- Save a profile once: name, email, phone, address, company, business number, website. Keep two profiles, for example personal and work.
- On any form, click the toolbar button, then "Fill this page". It matches boxes by their type, autocomplete hint, name and label, and leaves boxes that already have text alone unless you ask it to replace them.
- Right-click a text box to insert a saved snippet (a signature, a standard reply, an ABN line) or a single field. Snippets can use {{firstName}}, {{email}} and {{date}}.
- Download a backup of your profiles and snippets as a JSON file, and restore it later.
- No account, no sign-in, no cloud. Everything is stored in your browser on this computer.
What it will not do
- It never fills passwords, card numbers, bank details or ID numbers, and does not store them.
- It does not read the pages you visit. It looks at a page's form boxes only when you click "Fill this page", and only on that tab.
- It cannot fill boxes inside some embedded or custom-built form widgets. Check what it filled before you send.
- Details are stored unencrypted in the browser, like any add-on's storage. Do not save secrets in snippets.
Free, and what is planned
It is free. Everything works today, including backup and restore. The only limits are 2 profiles and 10 snippets.
A paid licence is planned, not on sale: a one-time licence key, intended price US$12 once (about A$18.60) with tax included where it applies, not final, that would lift those two limits. It is a single payment, not a subscription. Nothing requires payment today, nothing is charged or collected, and there is no checkout on this page.
Privacy
The add-on collects no data and has no analytics. Your profiles, snippets and settings stay in your browser. It makes no network requests.
